At Christina Lundsteen, selected designs are available as made to order pieces.

Made to order is our way of bringing selected designs home to you, even when they are not currently held in stock. Each piece is crafted especially for your order, with the same attention to color, quality, and craftsmanship as every Christina Lundsteen design.

What made to order means

Made to order items are not held in immediate stock. Once your order is placed, your piece is scheduled for production and crafted especially for you.

This allows us to create selected designs with intention, care, and a more personal approach to production.

How to know if an item is made to order

Made to order items will be clearly marked on the product page before you add them to your cart.

If your order contains a made to order item, the expected delivery time for that item will be shown before purchase.

Delivery time

Made to order pieces are typically ready to ship within 4-6 weeks from the date your order is placed.

This timeframe allows us to prepare, craft, finish, and quality-check your piece before dispatch.

Once your order is ready to ship, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details.

If your order contains both in-stock and made to order items

If your order includes both in-stock and made to order pieces, your items may be shipped together once the made to order piece is ready.

If you need an in-stock item sooner, please contact us at info@christinalundsteen.com as soon as possible after placing your order, and we will let you know whether separate shipping is possible.

Production updates

You will receive updates as your made to order piece moves through production.

If there is an unexpected delay, we will contact you as soon as possible with an updated expected timeframe.

Payment

Made to order pieces are crafted especially for your order. Depending on the payment method used at checkout, payment may be charged when your order is placed or when production begins.

This allows us to reserve materials and dedicate production time to your specific piece.

Changes and cancellations

Because each made to order piece is scheduled and crafted especially for your order, changes or cancellations may not be possible once production has begun.

We will always do our best to help before production has started.

Returns and exchanges

Made to order pieces can be returned in the same way as in-stock items.

If you are not fully happy with your made to order piece, you may return it according to our standard return policy, provided the item is returned in its original condition and within the applicable return period.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us at info@christinalundsteen.com as soon as possible after delivery.

Please include your order number and photos of the issue so we can review it and arrange the appropriate solution.

Depending on the situation, this may include a repair, remake, replacement, refund, or another suitable solution.

Natural variations

Each Christina Lundsteen piece is hand-finished. Slight variations in fabric, filling, stitching, or color placement may occur and are part of the character of handcrafted goods.

These variations do not affect the quality or function of the piece.

Color and product appearance

We do our best to represent colors as accurately as possible online. However, colors may appear slightly different depending on screen settings, lighting, and the surrounding interior.

If you are unsure about a color combination before placing a made to order order, you are always welcome to contact us for guidance.

Duties, taxes, and international delivery

For international orders, local duties, taxes, or import fees may apply depending on your shipping destination. These charges are determined by local authorities and are not included unless clearly stated at checkout.
